Mossen Skifte
A 12-hectare boreal mire and birch-forest commons in the Baltic littoral, hosting peatland restoration trials.
Mossen Skifte ("the mire share") is a community-held commons on the Baltic coastline, anchored around a partially drained sphagnum mire under active rewetting. The site runs peatland restoration research with three regional universities and hosts apprentice cohorts learning Sami-influenced fire and grazing protocols. Linnea co-stewards the educational programming.
