Camp Altiplano – Self-Sufficient Restoration Camp & Agroforestry Hub in Murcia’s Semi-Arid High Plains

Camp Altiplano is an off-grid restoration camp on a 5-hectare plot in Murcia’s high plains. Since 2017 it has transformed severely degraded farmland into a thriving agroforestry system, engaging more than 2,000 volunteers and supporting wider efforts to restore 620,000 hectares through local collaboration.
